As a leading global workforce solutions provider, Pride Global connects people with employment opportunities and makes a difference in the communities in which we live and work. Given the worldwide span of our workers, clients, suppliers, and partners, we recognize the global reach of our business practices and our public accountability. Our culture and values are rooted in service, integrity, and taking personal responsibility for our actions, outcomes, and reputation.
Our Commitment to Corporate Sustainability
It is the policy of Pride Global and its subsidiaries to provide equal employment opportunities in recruitment, selection, training, compensation, promotion, job transfer, and assignments, and to ensure that employment decisions are based only on valid job requirements. These opportunities and other conditions of employment are extended to qualified applicants and employees regardless of an individual's race, color, sex, pregnancy, age, religion, national origin, genetics, sexual orientation, gender identity/expression, disability, veteran and military status, and/or other protected categories under applicable laws. Further, we are committed to employing and advancing in employment qualified minorities, women, individuals with disabilities, and protected veterans.
Employees and applicants for employment will not be subjected to harassment, intimidation, threats, coercion, or discrimination because they have engaged or may engage in filing a complaint, opposing a legally protected act regarding equal opportunity in employment, or assisting/participating in an investigation or related State/Federal proceeding under applicable laws.
Health, Safety, and Environment
The purpose of this policy is to demonstrate Pride Global and its subsidiaries' commitment to its employees' health and safety.
Our vision to provide the world's best workforce solutions requires us to pursue continuous improvement towards no incidents, no injuries, and no harm. We at Pride Global take personal responsibility for our own safety and the safety of our co-workers and those for whom we are responsible. This requires an alignment of interests with our employees, customers, and suppliers. We expect all Pride Global employees, customers, and suppliers to comply with, if not exceed, applicable workplace safety and health regulations, promote a culture that fosters open dialogue on working conditions, hold all employees personally responsible for safety and health compliance, engage in collaborative and effective safety partnerships, and regularly assess worksites to ensure a safe, healthful work environment.
Human Trafficking and Modern Slavery
Pride Global and its subsidiaries are dedicated to maintaining a work environment that is free from any form of exploitation, including modern slavery and human trafficking. We uphold human rights and treat all individuals with dignity and respect. We recognize our responsibility to be alert to the risks, however small, in our business and in our wider supply chain.
As a provider of recruitment services, we engage with a wide range of clients and suppliers. Our supply chains include sourcing candidates for various roles and services. In the UK, we aim to work with a range of clients and suppliers who provide services across a number of different categories. Therefore, we have close relationships with our suppliers and good visibility of our supply chain.
To combat modern slavery, we have implemented the following policies and procedures:
- Employee Code of Conduct: All employees are expected to adhere to our Code of Conduct, which includes provisions relating to ethical behavior and respect for human rights.
- Recruitment Practices: Our recruitment processes are designed to ensure that all candidates are legally entitled to work in the UK and are treated fairly throughout the recruitment process.
- Training and Awareness: We provide training to our employees on identifying and reporting signs of modern slavery and human trafficking.
Child Labour
Our Code of Conduct and the Supplier Code of Conduct state that in our business practices, as well as for our partners and suppliers, compliance with all applicable child labour laws—including those relating to minimum age limits, limitations of working hours, and prohibition against certain types of work—is mandatory. Pride Global understands that opportunities may arise for the placement of minors under the age of 18 and has therefore implemented a policy to ensure its compliance with federal labour law and OSHA regulations. This policy is extended to all countries of operation and respects all internationally proclaimed human rights.
Human Rights
Pride Global and its subsidiaries are committed to providing all our employees with fair and safe working conditions and the opportunities they need for growth. We also expect our partners to adhere to human rights principles consistent with our own, especially those that may impact our employees, candidates, and job seekers. Our working and labour practices are aligned with global initiatives such as the ILO Convention and the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights.
Reporting and Monitoring
We encourage all employees, candidates, and business partners to report any concerns related to any of the above. Reports can be made through our confidential whistleblowing hotline or directly to our compliance team at privacy@prideglobal.com . All reports will be thoroughly investigated and appropriate actions will be taken.
Our commitment to combating the above issues is an ongoing process. We regularly monitor and review our policies, practices, and procedures to ensure they remain effective and relevant. Our efforts include conducting annual reviews of our policy statement and related procedures, as well as tracking performance metrics related to supplier compliance and employee training.
